Failed Delivery Attempts
Sometimes a courier may attempt delivery but fail due to unavoidable reasons. Don’t worry, most failed delivery cases are resolved with a second attempt or rescheduling.
Why Delivery May Fail
A delivery attempt can fail due to:
- Customer not available at the address
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Phone number not reachable
- Security or access restrictions (gate, office, building rules)
- Cash on Delivery payment issue (no cash or payment refusal)
- Delivery rescheduled due to high volume or route issues
What Happens After a Failed Attempt?
After a failed delivery:
- The courier usually tries again within 1–2 days
- You may receive a call or SMS to reschedule
- The package stays with the courier for a limited holding period
