Enable 2FA Security
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Buysuq account. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot log in without the verification code.
How to Enable 2FA
On Website
- Login to your Buysuq account
- Go to Account Settings
- Open Security Settings
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Choose your preferred method:
- SMS OTP
- Email OTP
- Authenticator App (recommended)
- Verify with the code sent to your device
- 2FA will be activated successfully
2FA Methods Explained
SMS OTP
A one-time code is sent to your registered mobile number during login.
Email OTP
A verification code is sent to your registered email address.
Authenticator App (Best Option)
Use apps like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate secure login codes.
When 2FA is Used
2FA will be required when:
- Logging in from a new device
- Resetting password
- Changing sensitive account settings
- Accessing payment-related features
Backup Options
To avoid losing access:
- Keep your recovery codes safe
- Ensure your email and phone number are up to date
- Add more than one verification method if possible
Disable or Change 2FA
You can manage or disable 2FA anytime from:
Account Settings → Security Settings
For security reasons, you may be asked to verify your identity before making changes.
Common Issues
Not receiving OTP
- Check network signal or email spam folder
- Wait a few minutes and retry
Lost authenticator device
- Use backup codes or recovery options
- Contact support if access is fully lost

Never share your OTP or authenticator codes with anyone. Buysuq support will never ask for these details.
