Update Phone Number

You can change or update your registered mobile number from your account settings. This helps keep your account secure and ensures you receive order updates and OTPs.

How to Update Phone Number

On Website

1. Login to your Buysuq account
2. Go to Account Settings or Profile
3. Click on Phone Number
4. Select Edit / Update
5. Enter your new mobile number
6. Verify with OTP sent to the new number
7. Save changes

Important Verification Step

For security reasons, you must verify:

• Old phone number (if accessible), or
• Email verification (if phone is not available), or
• OTP sent to the new number

Your number will only be updated after successful verification.

When You Should Update Your Number

• You changed your mobile number
• You no longer have access to old SIM
• You want to improve account security
• You are not receiving OTP or notifications

Common Issues

OTP not received

• Check network signal
• Wait 1–2 minutes and resend OTP
• Ensure number is correct

Cannot access old number

You may need email verification or contact support for manual update.

Number already linked to another account

A mobile number can only be used on one account at a time.

Security Note

Changing your phone number may temporarily log you out from all devices for security reasons.
