Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Buysuq account by requiring a verification code during login.
What is 2FA?
2FA helps protect your account even if someone knows your password.
After entering your password, you will also need to verify your identity using:
- SMS OTP
- Email verification code
- Authentication app (if supported)
How to Enable 2FA
On Website
- Login to your Buysuq account
- Go to Account Settings
- Open Security Settings
- Select Two-Factor Authentication
- Choose your preferred verification method
- Complete the verification process
- Save your settings
Once enabled, extra verification will be required during login.
Available Verification Methods
SMS OTP
Receive a one-time verification code on your mobile number.
Email Verification
Receive a security code in your registered email inbox.
Authenticator App
Use apps like:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
(if supported by the platform)
When Will 2FA Be Required?
You may be asked to verify your identity when:
- Logging in from a new device
- Logging in from a new location
- Changing account security settings
- Resetting your password

If you cannot access your OTP device or email:
- Try backup recovery options
- Reset your password
