If you want to remove your personal data from Buysuq, you can request account data deletion. This process ensures your data is handled securely and in line with legal and operational requirements.
What “Data Deletion” Means
When you request data deletion, Buysuq will:
- Disable your account access
- Remove or anonymize personal information
- Securely retain certain records only where required by law (for example invoices, tax records, fraud prevention logs)
- Permanently delete non-essential personal data after the retention period
What Data May Be Deleted
Depending on your account activity, the following may be removed:
- Profile information (name, email, phone)
- Saved addresses
- Login credentials
- Preferences and settings
- App activity history (non-financial)
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be kept for legal or business reasons:
- Order history and invoices (tax compliance)
- Payment transaction records
- Refund and dispute logs
- Fraud prevention and security records
This data is not used for marketing or personal profiling after deletion.
How to Request Data Deletion
On Website
- Go to Account Settings
- Open Security & Privacy
- Click Request Account Data Deletion
- Verify your identity using OTP
- Submit your request
What Happens After You Submit a Request
- Your request is marked as Pending

- Refunds or disputes
- Wallet balance
- If everything is clear, your request is processed
- If not, it may require review or delay until issues are resolved
Processing Time
- Initial review: 24–48 hours
- Full processing: up to 7–30 days depending on legal and financial requirements
You will receive updates on your request status.
Can I Cancel My Request?
Yes, in most cases:
- You can cancel the request while it is still pending
- Once approved, cancellation may not be possible
Important Notes
- You cannot delete data if there are unresolved transactions
- Deleting your account does not immediately erase all records due to legal requirements
