Vendor Policy Guidelines

All sellers on Buysuq must follow these guidelines to ensure a fair, safe, and consistent marketplace experience for customers.


1. Account Requirements

  • Vendors must provide accurate business and personal information
  • Valid email and phone number are required for verification
  • GST details (if applicable) must be correct and up to date
  • One vendor account per business entity (unless approved otherwise)

2. Product Listing Rules

  • All product information must be accurate and honest
  • Images must represent the actual product
  • No misleading titles, descriptions, or pricing
  • Prohibited or restricted items cannot be listed
  • Duplicate or spam listings are not allowed

3. Pricing Policy

  • Prices must be fair and market-competitive
  • No artificial inflation before discounts
  • All applicable taxes must be included or clearly mentioned
  • Final price shown to customer must be transparent

4. Order Fulfillment

  • Orders must be processed within the defined SLA
  • Accurate stock availability must be maintained
  • Delayed or unfulfilled orders may impact vendor rating
  • Proper packaging is mandatory to avoid damage in transit

5. Shipping Responsibility

  • Vendors are responsible for timely dispatch (if vendor-shipped model)
  • Correct tracking information must be provided
  • Shipping labels must match order details
  • Fake tracking or delayed updates are strictly prohibited

6. Return & Refund Handling

  • Return requests must be processed according to platform policy
  • Refunds should be issued promptly after product verification
  • Rejected returns must be justified with valid reasons
  • Abuse of return system may lead to penalties

7. Customer Communication

  • All communication must remain professional and respectful
  • No harassment, spam, or misleading messages allowed
  • Customer queries should be responded to within reasonable time
  • Contact details must not be misused

8. Performance Standards

Vendor performance is monitored based on:

  • Order cancellation rate
  • Late shipment rate
  • Return/refund rate
  • Customer feedback and ratings

Poor performance may lead to:

  • Reduced visibility
  • Account warnings
  • Temporary suspension

9. Prohibited Activities

  • Fake orders or reviews
  • Selling counterfeit or illegal products
  • Manipulating ratings or reviews
  • Attempting to bypass platform fees or policies
  • Any fraudulent activity

10. Account Suspension & Termination

Buysuq reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or restrict vendor accounts for policy violations
  • Permanently terminate accounts in case of repeated or serious breaches
  • Withhold payouts in cases of fraud or unresolved disputes

11. Policy Updates

Vendor policies may be updated periodically. Vendors are responsible for reviewing updates and staying compliant.
