Refunds on Buysuq are processed after your return or payment issue is verified and approved. The time it takes depends on your payment method and bank processing speed.


When Does the Refund Start?

Refund processing begins after:

  • Return item is received and inspected, or
  • Payment failure is confirmed, or
  • Order cancellation is approved

Estimated Refund Timelines

UPI Payments
  • Usually: within 24 hours
  • In some cases: up to 2 business days
Wallet / Store Credit
  • Usually: instant to 1 business day
Debit Card
  • Usually: 3 to 7 business days
Credit Card
  • Usually: 3 to 7 business days
Net Banking
  • Usually: 2 to 7 business days
Cash on Delivery (Refund to Bank/Wallet)
  • Usually: 3 to 10 business days after return approval

Where Will I Receive My Refund?

Refunds are issued to:

  • Original payment method (preferred option)
  • Bank account linked to payment
  • Buysuq wallet / store credit (if applicable)

Refund Status Stages

  • Refund Initiated → Process has started
  • Processing → Bank or payment gateway is handling it
  • Completed → Amount has been credited
  • Failed → Refund could not be processed (rare case)

Why Is My Refund Delayed?

Delays may happen due to:

  • Bank processing time
  • Public holidays or weekends
  • Payment gateway delays
  • Incorrect account details (for manual refunds)
  • High transaction volume

How to Check Refund Status

You can track it here:

  1. Go to My Orders
  2. Open the specific order
  3. Check Refund Status

Or check:

  • Bank statement
  • UPI app transaction history
  • Wallet balance

Still Not Received Refund?

If the refund is beyond the expected time:

  • Contact your bank or payment provider
  • Verify payment reference ID
  • Contact Buysuq Support with your order ID
